Rainbows Ireland works to enable children and young people who have experienced a significant loss to access peer support. This support happens within their local communities as they seek to come to terms with their grief and loss (Rainbows Ireland, 2025)

Rainbows aim is to provide a safe environment for participants who have experienced a loss in their lives. Children/young people can come and participate in a peer support group-based program.

Fully qualified and trained Rainbows facilitators facilitate this program and offer support and understanding that’s required for children/young people to promote positive emotional well-being.
